Short answer: Taybl Ticketing lets a restaurant sell tickets for events such as tasting menus, wine dinners and supper clubs from its own website. It holds the tables an event needs, lets guests choose dishes and flag allergies, and gives the kitchen a printable pack. It costs £0.70 + VAT per paid ticket, with no monthly fee.
Why we built it
Most ticketing tools are made for gigs and conferences. Restaurants have a different problem. A ticketed dinner competes for the same tables as tonight’s bookings, comes with food and dietary needs, and ends in a kitchen that needs numbers, not a spreadsheet export. Restaurants ended up juggling a ticketing site, a booking system and a lot of email.
What it does
Seated events that hold your tables
Pick the areas an event uses, add set-up and clear-down time, and restaurant bookings can't take them. Each order is given a table that fits its party. Move parties around on the plan.
Or no floor plan at all.
Sell simple tickets against a total number of places or seats. This gives you total flexibility on seating arrangements or is perfect for standing events with no seating plan.
Food pre-orders
Attach a menu to a date. Guests pick a dish for each course and list what they can't eat before a cutoff you set. Dishes carry their allergens, so clashes are flagged.
Questions for guests
Ask what you need at checkout, and show the answers where they matter: at the door, in the kitchen, on the seating board.
Door check-in app
Scan QR tickets in the Taybl staff app. Door staff don't see finances or guest data.

Ticket buyers and diners are the same person in your guest database.
