About Taybl

Built by people who worked

the pass , not the roadmap

Taybl was started by Reece and Dan. Reece has spent more than 25 years in hospitality – as a chef, a manager, an owner and a mixologist – so most of the problems Taybl solves are ones he’s lived through on a busy Friday night. Dan came from a design and marketing background, and turns that operational experience into software people actually want to pick up mid-shift.

Where We're From

An experienced team from Lancashire

We’re a friendly team of six full time staff working hard to make Taybl the affordable one-stop-shop for hospitality businesses across the UK.

We built Taybl from the ground up, and we’re not owned by some huge multi-national, which means the people we answer to are our customers, not investors.

Got an idea that would improve Taybl? We’re all ears!

The Problem

The two problems that inspired us to make Taybl

Paperwork that never got done properly

In busy kitchens, food safety checks slip. Not because chefs don’t care, but because there’s no prompt, and clipboards get forgotten when tickets pile up. We wanted asking for a record when due, that’s quick to complete, with records you’d be happy to show an EHO.

Booking data and rotas that lived in separate worlds.

We kept trying to line up covers against staffing to build a real forecast, and there was no intelligent way to do it with the tools on the market. Your bookings sat in one product, your rota in another, and joining them up was a manual job every week.

Those two frustrations became the two halves of Taybl.

Our History

Our Timeline

2023

The idea for Taybl first took shape and we started heavily researching other products.

2024

After literally hundreds of free software trials, we started the 1st design for Taybl.

2025

Our first working build was ready, fully operational, keeping accurate records.

2026

We overhauled the entire system to include the new booking, rota and marketing apps.

Your venue runs under one roof, so why is your software scattered across five subscriptions?

Most operators end up with Trail or Navitas for food safety, Rotacloud or When I Work for staff, and ResDiary or OpenTable for tables: three logins, three bills, three support teams, and no connection between them. Taybl brings food safety, rotas and bookings together in one system, so your covers inform your staffing and your compliance records live alongside the rest of your operation.

What we do differently

Support open 10am to 7pm, 7 days a week.

Most restaurants are busiest at the weekend and few open at 9am, so our hours match yours, not a call centre’s.

UK-based, 100% human support

A real person in the UK answers every time, by phone, live chat or email. No bots, no endless ticket queues.

Every feature big players have,1 system.

Food safety, rotas and bookings that talk to each other and utilise data, instead of three disconnected tools.

Straight forward, simple pricing.

Four powerful apps, ultra clear prices, no maze of add-ons to buy before you have the setup you actually need.

No long contracts, no on-boarding fees.

Leave whenever you want and export all your data in a few clicks. We want to earn your business every month.

Free done-for-you migrations

Moving from another platform is on us. We do the hard work getting you moved across, you focus on your business.

'Spend it your way' on-boarding

Free one-hour onboarding call you can use however suits you: building a floor plan, setting up checklists, whatever you like.

A free trial with room to settle in.

14 days free, and if you take all three core modules (Food Safety, Rotas and Bookings) your first 2 months are half price.

Who it's for

Restaurants, pubs, gastro pubs, cafés, franchises and multi-site groups in the UK.

For now we’re UK-only, because our food safety module is built around UK food safety regulations and we’d rather do that properly than water it down to expand too quickly.

Our Values

What we stand for

1

Operators first, in everything we do

Every feature is judged by whether it holds up during service, not in a demo.

2

Simple, honest pricing & product

Every feature is judged by whether it holds up during service, not in a demo.

3

Real people at every interaction

UK-based humans on support, every time.

4

One system you can rely on, done well

We’d rather do food safety, rotas and bookings properly together than bolt on twenty half-finished features.

5

Independent, not owned by a big corporate

Our roadmap is set by the people using the product, not investors who push the price up.
